Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall (born 21 August 1956) is a British and Canadian actor from Canada and
the UK. Her character in the role of Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City
(1998-04) is her most well-known role. She was awarded five Emmy Award
nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominees. In 2002, she won the Golden
Globe for Best Supporting Actress. The role was reprised in the films Sex and
the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Cattrall was first seen in
Rosebud (1975) and later went on to perform various roles in television.
Through films like Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984), Hold-Up
(85), City Limits(85), Big Trouble in Little China [86and Mannequin[] (1987),
Masquerade in 1988), Midnight Crossing in 1989, and The Return of the
Musketeers in 1989. Cattrall soon became the most well-known name. Tribute
(1980), Porky's (81) and Turk 182(85) and Baby Geniuses (999) were just a few
of the occasions she starred with Bob Clark. Her other credits include The Bonfire
of the Vanities (1990), Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (1991), Split
Second (1992), Above Suspicion (1995) and 15 Minutes (2001), Crossroads (2002),
Ice Princess (2005), My Boy Jack (2007), The Ghost Writer (2010), and Meet
Monica Velour (2010).
